For many small business concerns, sales or service, having a website designed and maintained seems expensive, confusing and perhaps a little frightening. In fact, when you find out the sort of prices a lot of web design companies charge it is frightening and expensive. And that’s just for a few basic pages too!
The importance of advertising and getting your business name and products/services in front of as many people as possible, especially newly started small businesses, can be a “chicken and egg” situation. To afford to pay for advertising, web design etc costs money. To make money to pay those costs you need to sell. To achieve sales you need to advertise. Catch 22!
I don’t have a rigid price list and in fact I don’t have a price
list. I prefer to meet the people who run the business and
look and learn about it’s operation and aims. Then discuss
the way a web site would be of value to the business plans
difficulties or restraints and result in an attractive and effective web design. If required, the
upkeep and management of the site can be included in the arrangements reached.
